FASHION SHOWS
Threads Fashion Show is an annual student-run event on Central Michigan University's campus. During the April 2017 Show, I showed two collections entitled Pacific Disturbance and Eternal Perspective.
Pacific Disturbance won CMU's COLLECTION OF THE YEAR and also walked the runway at Omaha Fashion Week August 2017.
Threads Fashion Show 2016
My second collection for Threads Fashion Show is entitled Eternal Perspective. It is inspired by my faith as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This collection has been accepted into the International Textile and Apparel Association's 2017 Proceedings, and will be presented as research in November.
IAll of the prints were designed by me! All of the patterning was done using origami folding techniques to create intricate one-of-a-kind garments.
Last year, I created a four-look collection for Threads Fashion Show. After being judged, two of my looks were accepted
and walked the runway.
Provo Fashion Week 2014
During my final semester at Brigham Young University, I had the opportunity to design a collection for Provo Fashion Week. It was a fashion show which took place outside of the University, but I decided to put my skills to the test and created a four look collection. My inspiration came from actress Audrey Hepburn and her elegant vintage flair. You can view my completed collection below.
